Once Ant-Man hits home video on December 8, all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 2 films will be available, and you know what that means—a giant box set of all the movies in special collectible packaging that will make a mockery of your shelves! This time, the Orb from Guardians of the Galaxy is the centerpiece, complete with the Power Stone inside.
The set includes the Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and digital copies of the following films:
• Iron Man 3
• Thor: The Dark World
• Guardians of the Galaxy
• Captain America: The Winter Soldier
• Avengers: Age of Ultron
• Ant-Man
That’s a total of 12 discs, and there’s a third exclusive bonus disc of extras which I’ll list below. In terms of other collectibles, the set includes “a gold-foiled page from the book of Dark Elves, an ancient drawing from the Morag vault, Avengers and S.T.R.I.K.E. uniform patches, a replica of the Tony Stark Tattoo from Marvel’s Iron Man 3, and much more!”
The set arrives on December 8 as well, but it’s an Amazon exclusive, so... you can basically order it there or... not. Personally, I think I’ll wait for Phase 3 to finish, because I’m pretty sure Marvel will eventually release a mega-mega-boxset of all of their movies, and I’m hoping that will come with a full-sized replica of the entire Infinity Gauntlet.
