Batman v Superman
For months, we’ve been hearing rumors that the DC comics villain Doomsday appears in the film in some way—perhaps as a final weapon created by Lex Luthor—to the point where it’s almost become accepted as fact. But maybe that’s not the case. A confirmed VFX artist for the film took to instagram to celebrate the wrap of the film—and answered a fan’s question about Doomsday’s CG model for the film. The artist responded that Doomsday was not in the film, but instead may appear in either Justice League or a potential Man of Steel 2.
The post—and the account attached to it—were promptly deleted shortly after, potentially adding some veracity to the talk—but otherwise, it’s perhaps best to treat this as rumor for now. [Batman-News]
Star Wars: Rogue One
Alan Tudyk discusses the practicality of the sets for the film:
You are amazed at what you can look at, because it is a physical world. If there are creatures, then there are creatures; if there are spaceships, then there are spaceships. It’s not huge swaths of green hung from the rafters. You have it all there, and if you don’t have it there then you go fly some place that does.

Gotham
Following the show’s introduction of the Order of St. Dumas last night, Executive Producer John Stephens says a story about the conflicted hero Azrael (who at one point took over for Batman in the comics) on the show is the inevitable conclusion to draw from the Order’s arrival:
We will be going deeper into the Order of St. Dumas over the next run of episodes, and it will continue to play an evolving role for the rest of the season. And yes, we wouldn’t be telling an Order of St. Dumas story without also intending to tell an Azrael story. Just keep watching.
