The Toy and Action Figure Museum of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma is looking for a new Executive Director. Start working on your resume for what looks like the best job ever.
The museum will be celebrating its tenth year in the middle of October, and holds over 13,000 individual action figures. The facility came together as part of an initiative to make Pauls Valley a tourist destination:
With the help of local artist and toy designer (and collector) Kevin Stark, a board was formed to start working on the world’ s first museum devoted to the art and sculpting of action figures! The museum acquired its 501(c)3 nonprofit status and the group began researching and creating the plans for a first – class facility in the heart of downtown Pauls Valley. It took the group five years to put everything together and the doors opened on October 15, 2005.
Responsibilities for the incoming executive director include:
- Working with the museum’s board to grow the museum’s presence.
- Managing the facility’s day to day operations and staff.
- Has knowledge of the current trends in action figures and toys.

This looks like a pretty awesome place to go - even if you’re not cut out to direct a museum, it looks like it’ll really be worth stopping by to visit.
