Jalopnik East has covered all the developments of the Char Anzable Gundam Toyota Auris promotional concept, to a small production run, and finally to its second and current iteration. It has been profitable for Toyota, so perhaps unsurprising that Toyota is heavily promoting it in animated commercials

In addition to the models you would expect to see at any auto show, Toyota made sure the Zeonic Toyota booth had its own Gundam costumed disc jockey.
The model/DJ was very responsive to the crowd and as soon as she noticed I was taking a picture, she put on the pose. Out of all of the booths at the Tokyo Auto Salon a few months back, the Zeonic Toyota booth was one of the most elaborate and decked out.
One of the interesting things about the Gundam Auris is that you can order all the specific parts individually, which means, if you have say a Scion iM/Toyota Corolla iM, you can order the parts from Toyota and fit them up. A true must have for any North American Gundam fan, right?
Personally, I just want those Zeonic Toyota racing seats, they look both comfortable and functional. But do you think I could actually get away with Toyota seats in a Honda?
...Okay, maybe not.
