Go Back To 1985 With These Awesome Back To The Future Minimates

With the 30th Anniversary of Back To The Future next month, we’re about to get a whole lot of cool goodies to play with celebrating the adventures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown—starting off with these cool little minimate figures from the first film, revealed for the first time here on io9!

The 1985 set—one of a series being released based on each time period from the films—features new versions of George McFly and Biff Tannen from the altered version of 1985, Needles, and a new version of Marty that comes with his skateboard as well as an alternate sleepy head. The set, which will sadly miss the anniversary year, will be out early next year and set you back $25. However, to make up for the delay, Diamond Select are also releasing a rad, minimates-scaled Delorean set. I mean, come on, it’s Back to the Future. No matter what you’re doing, it has to have a Delorean, right?

The cutesy, slightly deformed Delorean was first released in the Minimates vehicle line in 2010, but is making a return as part of these new bundles alongside an all-new version of Marty as he appears in his classic getup at the start of the film—and will only set you back $20 when it’s released alongside the 1985 set early next year.
